Department of Learning Technologies BAAS Student Joy Eaton and several other UNT students were selected to participate in a Ribbon Ceremony at Sage Hall on the main UNT Campus by Dr. James Duban, Director of the Office for Nationally Competitive Scholarships. When asked about how Joy was selected, Dr. Duban had the following to say, “I came by students in different ways. Joy’s name emerged on a sheet sent by an administrator who had lists of students who had either praised their professors in the campus-wide SETE or who had appeared on panels to discuss student excellence and related topics. Joy turned out to be a real gem; she spoke so eloquently, and entirely from the heart.”
